Virtual Reality Brings Us a Human Robot
Virtual reality is something that we have all been interested in since at least the 1980’s! There is so much that this industry hopes to offer in the way of science as well as entertainment. NASA uses virtual beings, such as a human robot, and other robots to do some testing. This is exciting, but many people are looking for more entertaining elements of virtual reality. There have been many attempts to make a robot girl that would do some, well, adult things, but so far this has not proved as easy as simply conceiving of the idea. Creating a human robot that actually looks, feels, and behaves like a human is very difficult and thus far many of the attempts have been criticized heavily for their lack of attractiveness and human features. Does this mean that virtual reality won’t be entertaining and continue to be useful in some areas? Absolutely not!
China Creates a Sexy Robot
China recently created a sexy robot that is much more human looking than previous attempts. This “Dion” has human features such as skin and hair and can even sing, though only in Chinese. She is much sexier than the previous girl robot attempts as she wears a little shirt and has what appear to be nicely sized breasts! While the sexy robot is much better looking than previous attempts, many who are familiar with the virtual reality industry still criticize the girl robot, because she doesn’t do much other than sing a bit, but her lips hardly move and her movements are not all that realistic.
Virtual Reality Robot Girl is Exciting Development
The Chinese Dion is more exciting than previous attempts such as the Karaoke android, the robot money, the Chinese beauty robot, and Korea’s Ever-1 android, but still leaves a lot to be desired. Most were hoping that this girl robot would be truly sexy, but she still looks very plastic. Many have said that she is less girl robot than poorly designed but much-hyped animatronics. Though she didn’t live up to the expectations of many, she is a huge step in the right direction.
Virtual reality is forging ahead in all areas of the world, but it seems that China as well as Korea are leading the way. It will be interesting in the coming years to see where the sexy robot is able to go, and if it will be able to do more than simply stand, or sing in Chinese! Virtual reality has a lot to offer on all fronts, and as time goes on, it only has more potential.
